and displayed within the AIDA Dashboard; and sets out what we do with your
personal data when we download new data from OpenAlex (from OurResearch).
The Open University is the data controller in relation to the processing
activities described below. This means that the Open University decides why
and how your personal information is processed.
Where this document refers to “we”, “our” or “us” below, unless it mentions
otherwise, it’s referring to the Open University
When we download the updated version of the scholarly papers catalog, it
includes the names of authors and contributors as well as the title of the
output and other metadata.
We compute analytics and make them available on the AIDA Dashboard as part
of the OU’s public task of promotion of and improvement of access to
academic research.
All data is stored in the UK and no data is transferred outside the UK.
We keep outputs in perpetuity unless we are asked to remove content.
You have a number of rights in relation to your personal information, which
